Short, because there is not much to agree to.

The licence

LibTrack is released under the MIT licence. You may use it, copy it, modify it and distribute it, including commercially, provided the copyright notice travels with it.

No warranty

The software is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. It is an independent project, in real use at one school, and not a supported commercial product. There is no service level, no guaranteed response to a fault report, and no promise that a future version will keep any particular behaviour.

Your data is your responsibility

LibTrack backs itself up automatically at every launch and keeps fourteen snapshots, but they sit on the same computer as the database. A failed hard drive, a stolen PC or a wiped machine takes both. Copy a backup somewhere else — a USB stick is enough. Settings → Backups will export one.

The unsigned installer

The Windows installer is not code-signed, and SmartScreen will warn about it. Verify the checksum published on the download page before running it, and only download it from this site or the project's GitHub releases.

Schools' obligations

A school using LibTrack is processing the personal data of minors and remains responsible for that under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173) — including who may use the computer it runs on and who may see the exported reports. See privacy.
